The Watershed team of architects are all formally trained, offer experience, diversity and a genuine enthusiasm for design. Foremost is the desire to clearly communicate design intent, ensuring that the built product is a true reflection of the design ideas.
With over 20 years of experience Mark has developed a considered and creative approach to design and been involved in the creation of many projects from individual homes to large apartment buildings and educational facilities. His excellent rapport and communication with clients and builders ensures a seamless design and construction process. He founded Watershed Design in 2002 while his wife Carolyn went to work earning the money so he could build his practise in between surfing breaks.
Her love of architecture began as a child labourer in her father’s architecture practise in the 1970’s when plan printing involved inhaling enough ammonia to make her head spin. She came to Sydney from country South Australia and was bedazzled by bright lights, big city and all that was offered by a large commercial architecture firm in which she worked for 10 years before having three daughters and joining Mark in their business over 10 years ago. Today Carolyn juggles her time with her family and has input in projects when she can.
Part Architect, part fish, Peter operates best within close proximity to water. His attention to detail, excellent model making skills and easy going manner make him a valued member of the Watershed team.
Vectorworks and Sketch-Up whizz (but don’t call him a computer nerd), Jujitsu black belt, avid traveller and creative thinker. Evan provides elegant solutions to design challenges, communicating schemes clearly through detailed three dimensional computer modelling.
